FOTA WEB transfer from one unrelated company to another

A new FOTA WEB feature has been added that allows transferring devices from one company to another without the query.

"Device transfer" function operation principle:

  1. Company A (Device receiving company) generates a transfer token by selecting the "Receive devices" tab and clicking on the "Create button". The generated token will be visible in the following window. They should provide You with the token they've generated.

2. They should select the devices they want to transfer, or they can use a .csv list of devices.

3. Company that sends the devices entered Your token and transfers the devices by clicking the Transfer button.

 

*If You want to send the device/devices:

1st: The company where you want to transfer the devices sends You a token.

2nd Step: You should select devices or use a .csv list of devices

3rd Step: You enter the transfer token (the token receiving company provided You with) and click on the Transfer button.

 

NOTE: The token is single-use and expires in 21 days. Send this token to the person responsible for transferring devices from their company to yours.

  1. Company A provides tokens to Company B (Device sending company)

  2. Company B opens the Device transfer window, Transfer devices tab, and selects the preferred device source (Selected, Filtered, or From file).

  3. Company B enters the transfer token and clicks on the "Transfer" button to transfer selected devices to the "Receiving company"

If all steps were correctly done, the device/devices will be transferred to the receiving company, and both companies will receive an e-mail regarding the successful device transfer.
