Obsolescence of Alinx FPGA boards
Here is the statement from the manufacturer:
“Regarding lifecycle management of components on our boards, we have been paying attention to and controlling the life cycle of product components. Once any component needs to be updated or replaced, we will update our product version and provide PCN.
Regarding lifecycle management of our boards, we can offer modules as long as the chip vendor AMD-Xilinx offers chips. If a chip/module goes to EOL, we will inform you for last buy at least 6 months in advance.”
Warranty Processes and Management
Consumers cannot order this item. Natural persons implicitly declare to order this item for their commercial or professional activity.
Due to rigorous factory testing and the nature of the products, returns and exchanges are not accepted. If a manufacturing defect is suspected, the manufacturer may authorise a card to be sent for analysis at the customer's expense. If a defect is confirmed in the laboratory, the manufacturer will decide whether to replace or repair the product.
Steps:
The customer submits a claim via email to support with proof of purchase and description and of the defect (photos/video).
The support team of Mirifica and Alinx attempts to resolve the issue. Only if we do not succeed and Alinx approves for a repair can we send the defective item to them in China.
