writing to CAN bus

Teltonika devices cannot write to CAN bus for safety reasons.

Nevertheless, CAN-CONTROL can only send some request commands to CAN bus such as:

• lvcanopenalldoors = Open [unlock] all doors

• lvcanclosealldoors = Close [lock] all doors

• lvcanopentrunk =Open [unlock] trunk

• lvcanturninglights = One flash of all turn lights ordered trough accidental / blinking turn light switch

There is no penalty (apart from possible time loss) for entering a longer code than supported, it just won't set.
It is always recommended to update the CAN adapter before you install it, to have the latest updates.

• LV-CAN200 is supported with folowing devices: FM11XX, FMA1YX, FM6YXX, FMB6YX, FMB1YX, FM36YX

code migration scheme

You can update all HW revisions to the latest firmware. The firmware will automatically set the maxim code length supported by a given HW revision.

LV-BOOT20

Teltonika LV-BOOT20 updates firmware of the following CAN adapters:

• ALL-CAN300, LV-CAN200: connector cable, 10 pins
• CAN-CONTROL: connector cable, 11 pins

Update process:

• start LV-CAN200 Updater;
• enter standard user name and standard password to log in;
• LV-CAN200 Updater will connect to the Internet and updated the CAN adapter to the latest version automatically.
