For the follow-up of people and animals, the challenge for a tracker has always been the battery saving. To this end, the TMT250 offers two operating mode: the performance mode and the low power mode.
The performance mode: when it is active, GNSS module is constantly awake for a maximum track quality(excluding when Handheld device is in sleep mode).
The low power mode can be used instead of the performance mode. It can be configured in System -> Tracking Mode -> Power Save Mode -> Low Power Mode.
When low power mode is enabled, all sleep modes are desactivated and cannot be enabled.
Low power mode works like online deep sleep mode. Below, you will find some power consumption statistics when the device is not searching for coordinates and not sending any data:

A: Yes

Q: How is it possible to switch on (and off) the TMT250?
A: You can do it with a second button. In order to turn it Off, you have to press and old this button for 5sec. To turn it On, you have to press the button for 1sec.
